We are an evangelical Christian Church and we believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives/
We are a multi – generational church.
Our Sunday morning celebrations start at 10 am and run for around 80 minutes.
Our weekly attendance is approximately 150.
We offer communion on the last Sunday of ever month.
People come to Tailrace dressed in smart casual style to “I’m ready to go to the beach.” We are very relaxed.
If you decide that you want to come and join our Sunday celebrations we suggest that you arrive before the stated times. This gives us time to get you a cup of real coffee from the cafe, to register your children into the Tailrace Kids Program and for our connect team to greet you and help you find a seat.
We would love to welcome you to Tailrace Community.
Tailrace Kids is the collective name for all our ministry to children.
From our Sunday morning worship experience to our mid week playgroup, after school programs and school holiday programs Tailrace Kids aims to develop children from 0 – 12 to love one another and to love Jesus. We want them to laugh, to giggle, and to have fun.
We are privileged to host Tailrace Kids within the Kids Paradise playground.
Check out our Events page to discover Sunday Topics for Kids Church.
Tailrace Youth exists to be a revolution of young people who are excited about the power of Jesus to transform lives and change this world. Our youth meets at different times throughout the week with our main gatherings happening on Friday Night.
We also have a team of passionate youth leaders who are dedicated to mentoring and providing opportunities for young people in their journey of faith. Our leaders are eager to mentor young people through the various stages of adolescence and life.
If you are a school aged student in grades 6 – 10, we would love for you to come along to our Friday Night Youth, or our Sunday morning service.Child and Youth Safety Management Policy
Our young adults meet together in small groups on a Wednesday evening and gather at the Sunday morning celebrations.
We all want to feel like we belong, and the best way to do that at Tailrace Community is to join a small group.
Help a small group become a community of people who genuinely love and care for each other.
Our groups meet weekly or fortnightly, during the day or evenings. Small Groups are where we ‘do life’ together. We share, we pray and we reflect together on what God is saying to us in the Bible. We use a wide array of Bible study materials including books and DVD teaching. Some groups meet at the church, although most meet in homes. We have groups for women, mixed groups, young adults, families and children.
